Message from President

Takatsu Mfg. Co., Ltd. was founded in 1927.
As a primary supplier for Toyota Motor Corp., we have been striving for reliable manufacturing and nurturing of human resources on the basis of my grandfather’s philosophy:“TAKATSU products. With creativity, passion and harmony among engineers.”

At the heart of TAKATSU, there is always passion for producing innovate facilities, receiving TOYOTA Technology & Innovation Awards for 8 times since 1985’s innovation “Automobile Front Pillar Manufacturing Equipment.” One of our most noticeable achievements in recent years is to win TOYOTA Technology & Innovation Awards two years in low with “Robot changeover roller Hemming system” in 2022 and “Small Lot, Multi-product Automated Cell Roller Hemming system” in 2023. As TOYOTA recognizes our achievements in manufacturing technology, we have 100% share in the global market of TOYOTA’s hemming machines and systems.

Today TAKATSU Group became the world’s leading provider of manufacturing products and systems for automakers with approximately 400 employees working internationally including 2 associated companies ( Hosei Manufacturing Co., Ltd. / Takatsu EG Ltd.) and 5 overseas subsidiaries (TMNA in the United States / TTAE in China / TMTH in Thailand / TEV in Vietnam / Hosei in Shanghai).

To aim for a “100-year company”, and to focus on “the NEXT 100 years” ,I believe that we need to strive further to be a distinctive company which is capable of technology innovations. I strongly believe that the source of prosperity for a company is to nurture human resources with a proactive attitude and the ability to make outstanding proposals.
